Free Granny's Garden Hexagon Crochet Pattern
Materials:
1 oz. Red Heart Super Saver worsted weight yarn in Petal Pink
1/2 oz. Red Heart Super Saver worsted weight yarn in Honeydew
Small amount Red Heart Super Saver worsted weight yarn in Pale Yellow
Size H crochet hook
Gauge: 2 rnds dc=1"
Size: 10" in diameter
Rnd 1: With yellow, ch 4, join w sl st in 1st ch to form ring, 8 sc in ring, join w sl st in 1st sc, fo yellow (8 sc).
Rnd 2: Join pink w sl st in same sc as joining st in Rnd 1, ch 3, dc in same sc, 2 dc in each sc around, 2 dc in joining sl st of Rnd 1, join w sl st in top of beg ch 3 (18 dc).
Rnd 3: Ch 5, (dc in next dc, 2 dc in next dc, dc in next dc, ch 2) 5 times, dc in next dc, 2 dc in next dc, join w sl st in 3rd ch of beg ch 5 (24 dc plus 6 ch 2 sp).
Rnd 4: Ch 5, (2 dc in next dc, dc in next 2 dc, 2 dc in next dc, ch 2) 5 times, 2 dc in next dc, dc in next 2 dc, dc in same sp as beg ch 5, join w sl st in 3rd ch of beg ch 5 (36 dc plus 6 ch 2 sp).
Rnd 5: Ch 5, (2 dc in next dc, dc in next 4 dc, 2 dc in next dc, ch 2) 5 times, 2 dc in next dc, dc in next 4 dc, dc in same sp as beg ch 5, join w sl st in 3rd ch of beg ch 5 (48 dc plus 6 ch 2 sp).
Rnd 6: Ch 6, *sc in next ch 2 sp, ch 3, dc in next 8 dc, ch 3, rep from * around, ending w dc in last 7 dc, join w sl st in 3rd ch of beg ch 6 (48 dc plus 12 ch 3 sp).
Rnd 7: Sl st to 2nd ch of beg ch 3 sp, sc in same sp, ch 3, sc in next ch 3 sp, *ch 3, sk 1 dc, dc in next 6 dc, sk last dc, (ch 3, sc in next ch 3 sp) twice, rep from * around, ending w dc in last 6 dc, sk last dc, ch 3, join w sl st in 1st sc (36 dc plus 18 ch 3 sp).
Rnd 8: Sl st to 2nd ch of beg ch 3 sp, sc in same sp, ch 3, sc in next ch 3 sp, * ch 3, sk 1 dc, dc in next 4 dc, sk 1 dc, (ch 3, sc in next ch 3 sp) 3 times, rep from * around, ending w sc in last ch 3 sp, ch 3, join w sl st in 1st sc (24 dc plus 24 ch 3 sp).
Rnd 9: Sl st to 2nd ch of of beg ch 3 sp, sc in same sp, ch 3, sc in next ch 3 sp, * ch 3, sk 1 dc, dc in next 2 dc, sk 1 dc, (ch 3, sc in next ch 3 loop) 4 times, rep from * around, ending w sc in last ch 3 sp, ch 3, join w sl st in beg sc, fo pink (12 dc plus 30 ch 3 sp).
Rnd 10: Join honeydew w sl st in same st as fastening off st of Rnd 9, ch 3, 3 dc in next ch 3 sp, dc in next sc, * 2 dc in next ch 3 sp, dc in next dc, ch 1, dc in next dc, 2 dc in next ch 3 sp, dc in next sc, (3 dc in next ch 3 sp, dc in next sc) 3 times, rep from * around, ending w 3 dc in last ch 3 sp, join w sl st in 3rd ch of beg ch 3, fo (114 dc plus 6 ch 1 sp).
